THERION Singer SNOWY SHAW Back In U.S. Following Passport Theft

October 23, 2007

Christofer Johnsson of Swedish metallers THERION has issued the following update:

"Snowy [Shaw, vocals] got his passport stolen in San Franciso (as some of you already know). He traveled to Japan with a temporary pass and managed to get a new visa for Japan. While there he has now managed to sort out a new American visa and has arrived safely to Denver airport and will be making it to the show in Engelwood in good time."

Shaw shares the vocal duties in THERION with Thomas Vikström and two female singers.

THERION and THE VISION BLEAK will team up for a European tour in December.

THERION earlier in the year announced the departure of vocalist Mats Levén (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, KRUX, TREAT, AT VANCE),which took effect prior to the band's appearance at this year's Wacken Open Air festival in early August. His replacement in the group is Thomas Vikström, who is best known to metal fans as the voice behind CANDLEMASS' "Chapter VI" album (1992).
